The Haunted

When a brutal murder shakes a quiet quiet English county, detectives uncover a terrifying truth;  an ancient creature they thought was only a myth is awake… and it’s hunting again.
Based on the story of Black Annis, a terrifying blue-faced old crone who was said to prowl the countryside, slaughtering it occupants. She lived in a cave in the now residential Dane hills of Leicestershire, but our story is set in the fictional region called Hanmere.

Leicestershire 1643. An innocent young woman is condemned for a crime she did not commit. They took her life, but they could not take her soul. Nearly 400 years later, her love endures.

Two metal detectorists strike gold in ancient Northumberland, but come to realise that the revenge of the supernatural forces guarding the treasure is far more dangerous than the laws of the land.
